The war in Afghanistan is over. On August 30th, military transport planes flew the last remaining soldiers out of Hamid Karzai International Airport. This marked the end of the longest war in United States history, coming to a close near the 20th anniversary of 9/11. In this episode, Jules speaks to David Parsons and Maximillian Alvarez, and they reflect on the historical moments we are living through. David Parsons is a historian of the Vietnam War and Maximillian Alvarez is the Editor in Chief at The Real News Network.
